School's almost out...Looking for winter camps in the Austin area?

It’s that time of year again when many of us are looking for winter camps. In an effort to make your life easier, I have compiled a partial list of camps offering winter sessions below. In my experience, winter camps tend to be more expensive than summer camps, are harder to find for little ones, and often do not cover the full school break. I have tried to include camps in different areas in or near Austin, with a variety of price points, and a few options for littles.

Area: Round Rock (camp transportation is available from multiple locations around Austin)

Name: Kid Spa
Areas: North location - Avery Ranch/Parmer Lane and South location - Circle C/Slaughter Lane
Available dates: Open every day of the week, except Sundays (closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day)
Ages: 18 months to 12 years old
Hours: Mon.-Thurs. (7:30am-10:00pm); Fridays (7:30am-12:30am); Saturdays (9:00am-12:30am)
Cost: $9.00/hour (reduced rate special offered when purchasing blocks of hours). Rate is per child, but time may be shared within a family. There is a one-time registration fee of $30 per family. Registration required for first time visit.
